Hercules D. Logothetis, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the owner of Eye Physicians of Libertyville. He was the earliest adopter of SMILE correction surgery in Libertyville and the Chicagoland area. He completed a fellowship in Cataract and Refractive Surgery at the Cleveland Eye Clinic.

 

Dr. Logothetis has been featured and published in Ophthalmology Management, Cataract and Refractive Surgery Today, Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and Eyeworld. 

 

A refractive surgery patient himself, he is passionate about helping others improve their lifestyle through laser vision correction. Dr. Logothetis grew up in the north suburbs of Chicago and since 2018 has completed over 5,000 cataract surgeries and laser vision correction surgeries.

 

He serves on the Board of Trustees at the Hellenic American Academy and enjoys mentoring in medicine and entrepreneurship.

 

He lives in the North suburbs with his wife and three sons.
