Dr. Zaidi graduated from Benedictine University with a degree in health sciences and pursued her Doctorate of Optometry (OD) at the Illinois College of Optometry. She developed a passion for treating complex ocular disease in underrepresented communities, which led her to complete a rigorous ocular disease and primary care residency at James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center. She has treated veterans, active duty military, navy recruits, and military dependents for all their ocular needs.

 

Dr. Zaidi is currently in the process of completing her fellowship for the American Academy of Optometry, as well as her qualifications as a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.

 

When she is not in the clinic, Dr. Zaidi enjoys reading, spending time with family, and pampering her cat Furrari.
