Dr. Margaret Albertson is a Chicago-trained optometrist with over 10 years of experience providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages throughout Chicagoland. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry and completed advanced clinical training in ocular disease, glaucoma management, specialty contact lenses, and cataract surgery co-management.

A Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, Dr. Albertson received a Paragon Certification in Corneal Refractive Therapy in 2010 and remains engaged in clinical research. Her research has focused on the optics of silicone hydrogel multifocal lenses and higher-order aberrations measured by wavefront aberrometry, as well as complex ocular conditions which she presented at the American Academy of Optometry.
